The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed concerning the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area daily. The company place designed for intervention encounters SRD a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
